Thanks Jo!

"Wow" is right -- and I only got to check out parts 3 and 6 so far!

Great reading for a morning. Really opened my eyes. Loved it when Hugh playfully referred to Magneto as "sexier" this time. And yes, cheeky lady that I am, I would very much like to be the towel person (part 6).

I wonder how much she had to pay them to let her do that job? Big Grin

And for those who have read "If You Could See Me Now," he's so Ivan! Check it out:

quote:
Does he (Hugh) have a favorite comic in particular? "Origins is my favorite. I love it. (joking) Oh, Weapon X is my favorite. No, I really love Origins."

With the trailer and these set visit reports, I am getting the distinct impression that we are now at the start of the publicity buildup till Opening Day for X-Men 3 happy

What fun reading all those reports. Yes Hugh is wonderful no matter who he is with and who he sees along the way. He makes the world a bit nicer because he is so nice.

Well, I found this looming over the NYC skyline this morning, I'm going to have assume you're right!

(That was taken with my camera phone--I'll try to get a clearer one tomorrow. Took me a little by surprise this morning!)

Hmmm...interesting place to put it. Jen, was that an apt. building or a wherehouse? 'Cause I'm thinking if people are living in there...well, wouldn't it be weird to have your windows covered with that thing? Would you mind telling us where in the city that is? That short red buidling in the front looks soooooo familiar to me.

Well, if those were my windows, I probably wouldn't mind so much... Wink

I think it's a warehouse. It was on 9th Ave and 36th St, not far from the Javits Center.
Up until yesterday, that was a "Munich" poster.

But I just looked up when my bus was coming out of the Lincoln Tunnel this morning and saw this 6-story Wolverine peeking up over the buildings. That woke me up in a hurry! Eek

More than two years ago, I remember seeing a smaller billboard/poster on the way back to Manhattan from New Jersey, advertising the show of a man dressed in a shirt with red pineapples Big Grin

Correction! It was something Hawaiian Wink

The route to the Lincoln Tunnel hasn't been the same since the BFO billboard came down. I think it's an ad for an Indian cable channel now. Frown

Thanks Jen. Now I know why it looks so familiar. I nearly rented in that neighborhood.

And come to think of it, I don't think I'd mind that covering my windows either. I'd just want it facing the other way. Big Grin

Jen-

What happened to the HAIRSPRAY billboard that replaced TBFO billboard? Last time I looked, I thought it was still up on 495. Is that the approach to the Lincoln Tunnel you were referring to?

The Hairspray billboard became the Indian cable channel billboard, I think.

I'll check it out again tomorrow--I'm usually konked out on the bus that early in the morning so I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what is now.

Yep, definitely an Indian cable billboard. Checked it out this morning.

But if you're in the city...Wolverine is EVERYWHERE. I found these today:

I've found all 6 of the X3 posters around (and they look fantastic), but it's definitely the Wolverine poster that seems to be in the most places! Big Grin
