Valerie, It is a charity event and Hugh & Deb go to a lot of events. Hugh also has a lot of irons in the fire with Seed. Charity and a business trip would be smart. I hope there are a bunch of pretty pictures.

I am really getting sick of reading what a loser Hugh was at the Oscars!!!Last year everyone thought he was great now I keep reading colomnists saying he was a fiasco--jerks!!

Where did you read it? I know about few people who wrote it after the Oscars and keep writing it, too. But I just saw a nice summary of previous hosts yesterday and Hugh was praised there.

The whole thing is tounge in cheek. The guy is a comedian, not a columnist and he's joking through the whole thing. Might help to actually READ it all the way through before you get pissed off about it. Roll Eyes

That was one but I have read quite a few this week!!What is your problem I didnt need an editorial!

Heh. Barbara Walters' final special just featured tidbits from her interview with Hugh (well, the infamous lap dance part, anyway). But she was right about one thing, at least. After a moment like that, you might as well hang it up.
