Recently I was checking the website for a local company that runs bus tours to NYC, and was a bit surprised to find that they were offering orchestra tickets (a Wednesday matinee) to ASR. The prices were about the same as those for the other Broadway shows they list. I already have tickets, but this is certainly tempting...
Do you have a link?

Re the earlier discussion of the sudden lack of ASR seats for Thanksgiving weekend, I just read that BILLY ELLIOT upped its T-weekend regular tix to $146.50. So ASR tix are probably being withheld to be sold at a higher price.
The idea would seem to be to soak the tourists for all they have during their few days in NYC.

Most of the tickets I ordered--for myself and others--arrived in my mailbox today. The only one that didn't come is for a late November performance, so they're probably sending them out in performance order.
Yay!

Call Telecharge--ask for the supervisor--that's what Janis had to do several times and she finally got our (8) tickets emailed to her today. Nancy

Yeah, I'll probably end up doing that, since I still haven't gotten a response to my e-mail other than a "manager" was looking into it. But I'll probably wait until Monday.

Good for you, Pat But I am getting anxious, too ( my option is HOLD) and I am tempted to go straight to the Schoenfeld directly from JFK Airport to claim all my tickets - LOL! Jo
