I agree with both MM and Nancy - they will have to reserve some seats for the regular sale on July 25 thereon.

Just be ready as there might be more people trying to get tickets at that time. Good luck!

For sure. When the box office opens, I'm going to inquire about advance standing room for some November dates. It's rare, but I got it for Billy Crystal's 700 SUNDAYS. It was great to know I didn't have to stand on line all day.

I don't have AMEX but my daughter does. She got us tickets for 10/7 matinee Orch. Row J. I don't know the seat numbers yet, will let you know. The poor girl is having a huge picnic today and was stuck on line for about two hours so she didn't give me any details. I guess I'd better spring for her ticket too.

I got up early to wish everybody luck but my computer had other ideas today. Frown

Congrats to everyone who scored tickets.
"if you're gonna live, live" glad some of you will get to do that. Unfortunately some of us get to "live" with no money. The math is easy though:
0 money + 0 credit card = 0 tickets

Thank God for this board and a chance to "live" vicariously. Can't wait for the reports.

Just a note here....I started a thread for posting only the dates and seats. It will be fun to have an orderly list of whose going and when.

Hey, the ticket brokers are already busy at work --

http://www.ticketpolice.com/ti...er/a-steady-rain.php

Look at how they are making it appear as if their prices are cheaper than what the perceived secondary ( aka black) market will bear Wink

Check out Telecharge first before you go to any of these sites!

People magazine poll: who do you want to see on broadway?

Hugh's leading right now with 73%.

By the way, I just called the Shubert Organization to ask when the box office will open and was told "We haven't decided on a date yet."

Obviously, it's going to be either on or after July 25, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Hmmm...if only 5 percent want to see Daniel Craig on Broadway, as opposed to 73 percent who want to see Hugh, does that mean the latter is the driving force behind the million-dollar (and climbing) box office? Well, well.

Aw, poor Daniel Craig! I would want to see him on stage over Jude Law or T.R. Knight (he's on 'Grey's Anatomy', right?).

But Hugh deserves the lead. He's clearly proven that he's one of the best showmen in Hollywood. He's one of the only people to host a show like the Tony's and win an Emmy for it, isn't he?
