Maybe we should think of it as a cousin to SWEENEY TODD: I read today that Duncan (SPRING AWAKENING) Sheik is collaborating on a musical version--for Broadway--of that darkest of comedies, AMERICAN PSYCHO, the movie version of which starred Christian Bale.

I'm sure the term "high concept" will be tossed around. But it certainly sounds bizarre.
