I found the size limits: 100 X 100 pixels.

Could be a static picture: jpg, bmp or gif.
Or could have movement: gif

Who wants one? Just tell me but please not ask for "surprise me"!! LOL!

interesting enough, I noticed that under my name it says 'picture of musical mutant'...was curious do I have an avator under my name and I can't see it? I remember a very long time ago having one. If so, what is the picture of? I am very curious.

If you have any image (maximum 100x100) in jpg, bmp or gif and you can use as avatar just follow these steps:

1 – Upload the image to an internet photo album
2 - Go to Ozalot Member Area
3 - Click in View/Edit Profile
4 - On Avatar / Picture URL: click in Edit



5 - At this window paste the URL (the link of your image). Use the link only: like: http://album.com/photo.gif
6 - Click on Update Avatar

This message should appear.

Don’t use the other option, Upload customer avatar. This option doesn’t work for me in any way.

Pat, the link you are using is from Jackman’s Landing site, sometimes they didn’t work. It’s better to save the image you want in your own album, like photobucket... Tips here.

Pat and OZchick, you used the second option, Upload Custom Avatar, didn't you? This option is not working! I don't know why...
You have to upload the image to an Internet Album and just paste the link at the first option URL for your Custom Avatar!

P.S. Checking the accuracy of my URL was the key for me. Evidently, when I check in I use lower case "S" but when I opened my album, I used upper case "S". Just a clue for OZchick-ha! who am I, the computer moron of all time, to be handing out advice? Good luck, it took me almost a whole day to figure it out.
