This is a moment I've been hoping to experience for nearly 3 months and I guess, when I look back, an entire year, since the first time I saw The Boy from Oz.

Last night, after the show, I was standing in front of the Paramount Hotel, when I spotted a handsome, well-dressed gentleman that looked vaguely familiar to me. Our eyes met and after a moment I was sure that it was the man I had been hoping earnestly to cross paths with on this final day in Oz...

...my "email pen pal" of the past several months, TBFO producer Robert Fox. He even turned and said "Ben, come here! This is the lady who had the petition..." It was fellow TBFO producer Ben Gannon!!!

Mr. Fox and I had corresponded earlier in the week and he had made a very positive-leaning comment in regards to the petition / campaign and I was looking to speak with him yesterday to confirm his words in the email and get permission to publicly announce them.

I was able to do both.

I am here to announce that while there is no exact time frame at the moment, or indications whether it will be a previously recorded performance of the New York production or a future incarnation of the show...

according to producers Robert Fox and Ben Gannon: "There is sure to be a DVD and perhaps even a movie."

Mr. Fox congratulated me on the petition campaign saying that it was indeed a factor in the decision and to thank everyone for their support of the show this entire year.

So for all you Ozalots feeling a little heartbreak this morning, I hope that this bit of news will help you find a smile through your tears.

Love again to each and every one of you for your undying support and belief in this project.
